Für das DiG- Studium sollen wir ein Semesterprojekt erstellen. In unserem Zweierteam (Nusrat Al-Mamun und Lucas Schwabenitzky) gehen wir der Forschungsfrage "Was an Social Media – mit Fokus auf Instagram& TikTok – macht uns süchtig und warum?" nach.

The Quantification of the Human Impact on Landscape

This GitLab contains the wiki, timeframe, repository (datasets, metadata,...) and other related project items. This research in this project is done for the i3-Project at the University of Salzburg, Z_GIS as well as for the government of Salzburg.

The project is an interactive ArcGIS Dashboard to visualize Austria’s birth rate trends (total births) across Austria’s 94 political districts from 1970 to 2024, highlighting spatial and temporal patterns within a Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) framework. Data was sourced from Statistik Austria, and the dataset provides district-level birth counts, enabling analysis of demographic trends. The dashboard features choropleth maps, time sliders, district filters, and charts to explore historical trends, regional variations, and projected impacts. Data is cleaned using R, stored in PostGIS database, and shared via standardized OGC services (WMS, WFS). The project supports policymakers in planning education and workforce resources by providing insights into Austria’s demographic evolution, with urban/rural comparison integrated through district-level analysis.

This repository contains the master thesis developed by Gil Salvans Torras in cooperation with the Research Studio iSPACE.

This project includes all scripts for the Empirical Seminar Psychological Assessment incl. all para data analysis

The aim of the master thesis is to simulate the segregation processes within Salzburg. The project is therefore using spatial simulation methods, specifically the Schelling model.
